Herve's Barn & Gîte

Had a wonderful stay here. The Gite is spacious, clean and comfortable, with lots of character. Bec and Andy are really warm and welcoming and provided us with everything we needed. We particularly enjoyed that you get access to a wonderful garden, complete with two hammocks, a BBQ and patio furniture! Perfect for reading/relaxing and would be great for kids too. The location is great as there is a lake down the road with inflatables on the water, canoes, boats and plenty of nice food. We spent a few hours here taking in the lovely French scenery. We also travelled to some beautiful French towns and vineyards which were a drive away, but definitely worth the visit! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful, fully equipped Gite in the hamlet of Lambertie. Access and use of the fabulous large garden, bbq area, relaxing hammocks and even a Glastonbury festival yurt, if off grid camping is your thing! Local town of Rocheouchart is quaint and interesting with the Chateaux its main feature, local lakes only a short car ride away, where swimming and other water sports are available, authentic restaurants, a feature at some during peak season. If rural, tranquil, french countryside is on your wish list, then the Haute Vienne will not disappoint...Hervé's Barn being a great base in which to explore its delights. Bec and Andrew are superb hosts, with great local knowledge to aid your holiday enquiries if needed.
